Why when I begin to enter an email address that is included in my contacts it does not enter automatically?

This option has always worked in the past.

Why when I begin to enter an email address that is included in my contacts it does not enter automatically?
i have same problem as of yesterday. on another account, it works fine.. some genius at yahoo is doing something clever.

like someone has already said it is working on another email I have so it can't be my computer, anyone any ideas as how to rectify it?
Reply:This sounds like one of Yahoo's upgrades has just reached your account. Unfortunately, the Auto Complete feature is no longer an option for some.


Try this in Yahoo:


After you click on Compose or Forward to open the message window, click on "To" to open your address book which is set up only for emailing.


Check the boxes (TO, BC or BCC) next to the contacts you wish to send to, go to the top of the list and click "Insert Checked Contacts." The addresses you selected will be in the fields you selected and the address book will close.
