I have just transferred to Yahoo email and I want to tell all my friends. Can I send a single email that addresses all the contacts in my address book? How do I do it?
I want to tell all my contacts that I have a new email address: how do I send a single mail to them all?
How do I tell everyone I have a Yahoo! Mail account?
It's easy to let your friends, family, and coworkers know you have a Yahoo! email address.
Start by logging in to your Yahoo! Mail account .
Click the "Options" link in the upper-right corner of the page. Under "Management," then click the "Announce Email Address" link at the bottom.
In the Announce Address page that opens, enter the name you want people to see (your regular name? full name? nickname?) in the "From:" field.
In the "To:" field, enter the email addresses of the people you want to inform of your new address. Separate the addresses with a comma.
Do you already have a Yahoo! Contacts folder?
If so, it's easy to add addresses by clicking the "Insert from Yahoo! Address Book" link.
Add some words in the Subject line and then compose a personal message in the "Message" box at the very bottom.
This message will appear underneath this line: "You can now email me at: (whatever_youraddress_is)@yahoo.com."
When you've finished, click the "Preview and Send Announcement" link at the lower-left.
You can take another look at your message and, if you want to, change it before sending it. When you're ready to send it, click the "Send Announcement" button.
Reply:go to your old mail box, compose a note with your new address, then insert one recipient and c.c all the rest. you usually have a box that says "check all" insert as c.c. and send
