The group is of one particular ethnic background and it is growing organically.

I email a niche group with 700 contacts. Can i monetize my mailings through advertising or other way?
the best way as i see it is to write articles/reviews on some one-man-show business like dentist, lawyer, real estate agent, travel agent .. approach them directly and negotiate the price for one article that both describes and promotes their service .. of course, you have to polish the article to sound like useful info to your 700 readers and not like selling something.

Reply:You could try but you probably won't earn much. Internet advertising is usually sold by "impresssions" (unique viewers) or "click throughs" (unique people that click something). A penny would probably be alot to get for an "impression," and "click throughs" while selling for more (maybe as much as $1) are only paid when someone clicks something which is a rare occurance when compared with number of unique views. All in all the sites that make lots of money off advertising have millions of viewers. The top sites get "billions" of hits per month. Investigate for yourself but my opinion is you don't have anywhere near enough people on your mailing list to make any significant amount of money.
