by sister is one of my contacts. I want to add her to my "family" group. I don't want to send her an email asking permission.
How do I place contacts in a group without sending them an email?
Hi,
Go to your Yahoo Groups Page.
Go down the left hand side to "Invite"
Go all the way to the bottom of the page to "Add Members from an existing email list"
You can then enter her e-mail address there and not have to ask for permission. I think a notification e-mail is still sent to tell her that she has been added.
