Should i b using same log on & p'word for messenger as email. contacts through messenger also go in mailbox?

I use the same log on and password as i use for btinternet email. Dont think i should have done this as every time someone contacts me via messenger it also goes in my email inbox? Chrissy R

it may be easier to remember the same password for multiple things, but if you get hacked, you might lose anything that uses that same password.
