All my contacts are going into my email contact list but not my messenger...why?

Try adding them into your messenger itself. mine doesn't do that either, but there are contacts I have that I don't have on my messenger, always added them myself.

They are not automatically added to Messenger. You will need to add them.


Import Contacts Into Messenger: You will need to have the contacts in your Yahoo Mail Address Book.





1. With Messenger open, click on "Contacts."


2. From the drop down menu, click on "Import Contacts."


3. When the "Import Contacts window opens, click "Next."


4. When the next window opens, check the names you want to import.


5. Click "Next" and follow the prompts.


NOTE: The selected contacts will receive an email from Yahoo inviting them to join you on Messenger. You will be added to each others Messenger list when they accept the invitation.
