Reply:At the top and at the very bottom of your contacts list you will see the option. Click on "Add to Category."


Just tried it. Doesn't seem to be working right now, it used to. Maybe they'll get it fixed soon.

Click on their avatar [picture] to access their profile page. Just to the right of the avatar on that page, there are links for sending email or to IM that user.





You both need to have the feature turned on to be able to do this. Your email is enabled, but your IM feature is not.
Reply:on you contact's profile page, next to their profile box sometimes there will be links to the following:


Their 360 page


Their IM


Their email


These will show up IF they allow other people to contact them via such application. Some people DO NOT allow any or all of these. If they don't then you can't contact them.





A note about email: the email you use from Y!A is purely for between YA accounts. It will NOT give them YOUR Yahoo! account email address nor will they see yours. I guess it is a bit more like "chat" but not "instant"

New msn shows contacts email address?

Ok I downloaded the new msn and all my contacts are shown in the form of their email address. When they come online it changes to their display name and when they go offline it stays as their display name like normally. But is there any way to get all teh contacts that haven't gone online yet to go back to their display name instead of their email address.
